In terms of electrical performance, the Kinghelm KH-12X12X12H-SMT offers excellent contact resistance, insulation resistance, and dielectric strength. The rated electrical parameters are DC 12V 50mA, with contact resistance below 100mΩ and insulation resistance of at least 100MΩ (tested at DC 250V). Its dielectric strength allows it to withstand AC 250V (50Hz or 60Hz) at 1mA leakage current for one minute without breakdown. These critical performance indicators undergo strict in-house laboratory testing and production sampling to ensure the switch can reliably deliver stable control signals in real-world applications, minimizing risks of contact failure, short circuits, or dielectric breakdown.

Mechanically, the switch also demonstrates excellent performance. It is available in actuation force options of 160±30gf or 260±50gf to meet diverse product and user tactile preferences. With an actuation travel of 0.40±0.1mm, the switch delivers clear, tactile feedback, giving users a confident and precise confirmation when pressed, thus enhancing the overall user experience of end products. The tactile ratio is maintained between 30% and 70%, ensuring consistent and comfortable rebound characteristics. The KH-12X12X12H-SMT also passes stringent terminal and actuator strength tests, withstanding 300g static load applied to the terminal tip for one minute and enduring up to 3kg of pull force along the operating direction without structural or electrical damage, ensuring robustness during assembly and use.

Regarding durability, the Kinghelm KH-12X12X12H-SMT is designed for a lifespan of over 100,000 actuations (tested under no-load conditions at a rate of 100–120 cycles per minute). Even after this rigorous testing, the switch maintains contact resistance below 200mΩ and an actuation force change within 30% of its initial value. The product has also passed multiple environmental tests, including high-temperature, low-temperature, thermal cycling, and salt spray testing. It maintains stable electrical and mechanical performance under storage and operating conditions ranging from -40℃ to 85℃, with insulation and contact resistance meeting specifications and no signs of mechanical or electrical degradation. In salt spray testing, performed at 35±2℃ with a cycle of 4 hours of spraying followed by 1 hour of rest for four cycles, the switch maintains contact resistance below 200mΩ and insulation resistance above 100MΩ, demonstrating excellent corrosion resistance and environmental adaptability.

 

To ensure compatibility with common soldering processes, the Kinghelm KH-12X12X12H-SMT has been fully validated for reflow soldering, hand soldering, and solderability. It achieves over 95% wetting coverage in solderability tests at 260±5℃ for 3±0.5 seconds with no abnormal oxidation or deformation. Under hand soldering conditions, it also ensures reliable terminal solder joints without introducing excessive mechanical stress that could damage the switch body. The reflow soldering heat resistance testing confirms compliance with industry-standard thermal profiles, with no visual or functional abnormalities observed throughout, demonstrating its full suitability for standard SMT reflow soldering processes.
