Recently, the "2020 Beidou innovation application and industrial development seminar and the launching ceremony of Beijing Beidou industrial innovation base" was held in Beijing. In his speech, Chen Huanwen, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of economy and information technology, said that Beijing has the most complete industrial chain layout in China, with about 116 Enterprises above Designated Size and an industrial scale of more than 50 billion yuan in 2019. It will build characteristic bases such as industrial innovation and application demonstration along Beiqing road in Haidian District, National Geographic Information Industrial Park in Shunyi District and Beidou Industrial Park in economic development zone, Accelerate the integration of industrial resources. At the same time, Beijing has incorporated Beidou into the new infrastructure policy system and strengthened the factor guarantee in terms of capital, talent and space.
During the event, Beijing Beidou industrial innovation base, located in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, was officially put into operation, and many enterprises signed settlement agreements with the base on site.
It is understood that Beijing Beidou industrial innovation base will build a high-level, international and intelligent Beidou new space-time industrial base based on "One Institute (Beidou new space-time Research Institute), two museums (satellite navigation application experience Museum and Museum), and four platforms (collaborative innovation platform, rapid manufacturing platform, location data operation service platform and maker space platform)", Provide professional innovation and entrepreneurship incubation platform services to build the core hub of Beidou industrial ecology in Beijing. The base will gather the strength of advantageous enterprises and institutions in all links of the industrial chain, provide integrated services such as product development, industrial incubation, international cooperation, industrial exchange and application experience, and help Beijing Beidou navigation and location service industry gather core elements and develop high-quality industries.
China satellite navigation system management office said that with the completion and opening of beidou-3 global satellite navigation system, deepening the application of Beidou system faces broad prospects and new challenges, and is in three transformation and development periods: one is the transformation and upgrading period from beidou-2 application to beidou-3 application, and the other is the application promotion period from regional service to global service, Third, in the deep integration period of satellite navigation applications combined with other new technologies, we need to further emancipate our minds, make innovations and breakthroughs, give full play to the characteristic advantages of Beidou system, fully transform the powerful system capability into application capability, and give full play to the application benefits of Beidou. Promoting the construction of Beidou industrial innovation base in Beijing is a major measure to accelerate the application and promotion of Beidou system. It will further promote the application of Beidou system at a new starting point and better serve the economic and social development of the capital.
Chief engineer Yang Changfeng said that the completion and opening of the Beidou 3 system marks the arrival of two new times. First, the new era of integrated development of Beidou system promotes the in-depth integration of Beidou system with new technologies such as the Internet and the Internet of things.
