International Tech News:

1. Market research firm Counterpoint Research recently released a report indicating that the global pure semiconductor wafer foundry industry revenue will reach $165 billion, representing a 17% year-on-year growth.

2. Japan Display Inc. plans to sell its LCD and OLED panel production equipment located at the Mobara factory in Chiba Prefecture, with part of the LCD panel production equipment to be sold to China’s Huike.

3. Samsung’s Texas factory signed a $16.5 billion chip foundry contract with Tesla to manufacture its AI6 chips.

4. STMicroelectronics acquired NXP’s sensor business for $950 million.

5. Intel has reportedly confirmed plans to spin off its networking and edge computing division, reducing direct competition with Nvidia in the communications chip field.

6. South Korea and the United States semiconductor sectors are investing 100 billion KRW to develop next-generation hybrid bonding technology.

 

Domestic Tech News:

1. The National Innovation Center and Geely Auto jointly established the “Automotive Chip Evaluation Joint Innovation Laboratory,” collaborating on SerDes chips in vehicle controllers and promoting DDR testing and verification projects.

2. Reports show that the total number of large AI models released globally has reached 3,755, with China accounting for 1,509 models, representing 40% and ranking first worldwide.

3. Slkor Semiconductor (www.slkormicro.com) recently launched the “Slkor SL27517A MOSFET Driver Solution,” which has been well received by customers.

4. Lisuan Technology officially released its first GPU chip series “7G100” and its first graphics card product “Lisuan eXtreme.”

5. Jingmei Semiconductor’s high-end photomask project, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan, was settled in Hefei High-tech Zone, focusing mainly on R&D, production, and sales of photomasks at 28nm and above.

6. Nationstar Optoelectronics plans to raise nearly 1 billion yuan to increase investment in emerging fields such as Mini/Micro LED.
