Mr. Lai Zhuguang, Founder of Huaxuanyang Electronics

Lai Zhuguang, born in 1994 and a native of Chaoshan, Guangdong, is known as "Brother Guang of Huaqiangbei." He is the founder and general manager of Huaxuanyang Electronics and a well-known internet celebrity in Shenzhen's electronics circle. Regarding this, Mr. Lai Zhuguang said, "I opened a personal TikTok account (account: aguangge1314; username: Huaxuanyang Brother Guang) initially to create interview videos titled 'Dialogues with 100 Electronics Industry Bosses,' aiming to extract and share their business experiences and insights. This allowed me to connect with many industry leaders, such as my interview in December 2023 with Mr. Song Shiqiang, general manager of Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) and Slkor (www.slkoric.com). By seizing the opportunities of the short video era and being an early adopter in the industry, coupled with continuous refinement and rapid improvement, the high-quality original videos I produced resonated widely and gained significant influence, quickly making me popular in Huaqiangbei. The platform's recommended traffic was substantial, but becoming an internet celebrity was never the original intention—my focus has always been on product promotion and empowering the company's brand."

Mr. Lai Zhuguang has dedicated 14 years to domestic substitution, shifting his focus from business expansion to supply chain management, strategic direction, and risk control. He stated, "China's semiconductors and chips are being strangled by external constraints, and the cost of imported materials is high. The comprehensive localization of MOSFETs is an inevitable trend. Huaxuanyang Electronics' branded products can replace nearly 100% of imported brands, including Infineon, onsemi, STMicroelectronics, AOS, and Rohm, among others. In the future, we will continue to innovate and develop more product lines to replace imported products, becoming a global core supplier of power devices." Founded in 2016, Huaxuanyang Electronics (www.hxymos.com) adheres to the values of "sincerity, altruism, love, and win-win" and is committed to the mission of "striving for the rise of China's chips." It now serves over 5,000 clients.

Lai Zhuguang further pointed out that as a domestic brand and technical original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Huaxuanyang's "HXY" brand has chosen MOSFETs—the core power devices in circuits—as its product focus, replacing imports with domestic alternatives. Kinghelm and Slkor have also seized the opportunity of domestic substitution to grow rapidly, with their "Kinghelm" and "Slkor" brands gaining increasing recognition and influence, gradually becoming international brands. In the future, Huaxuanyang Electronics (www.hxymos.com) intends to deepen cooperation with Kinghelm Electronics (www.kinghelm.net) and Slkor Semiconductor (www.slkoric.com) to contribute to building an ecosystem integrating "technology + products + channels + applications + services."

"Life should be a vast wilderness." At the age of 17, Lai Zhuguang stepped into society with just 800 yuan in his pocket, arriving in Shenzhen alone. With the Chaoshan spirit of "preferring to sleep on the floor but be the boss," he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at 22 under the name Huaxuanyang, aligning perfectly with the "hardworking and innovative Huaqiangbei culture" summarized by Mr. Song Shiqiang, a Huaqiangbei business research expert. "Huaxuanyang" embodies the meanings of "Hua" (China), "Yang" (sunward and upright), and "Xuan" (dignified and extraordinary). The beginning was tough, with various challenges and obstacles, but by looking inward and never giving up, he always faced difficulties with a smile. Many say "Huaxuanyang Brother Guang" smiles a lot, just like the song goes—"Your smile is so beautiful, like flowers in spring." Smiling people often have good luck, and despite setbacks and hardships along the way, Lai's innate optimism kept him grounded, steadily managing his career and life.

"Nothing can stop your yearning for freedom"—this reflects Lai's true personality and life philosophy. He believes nature nourishes the soul, and the air at 5-6 a.m. is exceptionally fresh, which led him to take up early morning golf. When free, he plays 2-3 early rounds a week. Golf is a sport of etiquette; arriving late for a 6 a.m. tee time is impolite, so he developed a habit of early sleep, less evening socializing, and deeply respects the sport's spirit—integrity, self-discipline, and consideration for others.

Those who know him are aware of his love for traveling the world. Whenever business is slow, he sets off, often planning the night before and leaving the next day for impromptu trips. With stars in his eyes and flowers in his heart, he explores diverse places, meets all kinds of people, and listens to endless stories. He enjoys solo budget travel, using local public transport (like slow trains or buses), road trips, and hiking to deeply experience cultures and lifestyles. Budget travel is risky and tough, but these experiences hone his skills, test his resilience, and bring unexpected rewards—like summiting the 5,000-meter-high "Oriental Alps," Four Sisters Mountain, despite severe altitude sickness; bungee jumping off Macau Tower, the world's highest, despite his fear of heights; or earning a PADI diving certificate abroad despite not knowing how to swim. He confronts his fears head-on, believing that overcoming challenges makes him stronger. To date, he has visited over 40 countries across Eurasia, the Arctic, and the Middle East, even brewing traditional Chaoshan kung fu tea (a cultural heritage) at the ends of the earth.

In the prime of life, he has seen the most beautiful scenery and lived as his truest self. Some places, like Tibet (visited four times) or the harsh Ngari wilderness, are worth revisiting, while uncharted territories and unknown knowledge fuel his curiosity and growth. Along the way, his business thrived, and he grew personally. Hardships and global experiences transformed into new strengths, and his ideals gradually materialized. Traveling instilled in him reverence and humility for the world, deepening his understanding of "respecting heaven and loving earth." For example, in war-torn Middle Eastern countries, he saw people with little material wealth but radiant smiles—happy, kind, and grateful just to be alive. Yet, no matter where he goes, his Chinese heart remains unchanged. The vision of "bringing Chinese manufacturing to the world" and the mission of "striving for the rise of China's chips" are ingrained in his life.

Notably, "100% freedom, 100% responsibility" is a mantra of Lai Zhuguang, an outstanding post-90s entrepreneur, reflecting his unique management approach—Huaxuanyang's "Freedom and Responsibility" work method, also known as "non-controlling management." As the founder of Huaxuanyang Electronics (www.hxymos.com), Lai explained that his role as a leader is to uplift the team, not control it. The company values freedom and responsibility, empowering employees to work from home or even while traveling. Creativity and efficiency matter more than office presence or overtime. The "play to win" spirit means achieving goals while enjoying the process. The method includes four principles:

1. Those with a growth mindset earn freedom.

2. With freedom comes accountability for results.

3. Responsible individuals deserve more freedom.

4. Responsibility means letting results speak.

Lai emphasized promoting this work method across platforms like Huaqiang Lecture Hall, the company website, TikTok, and official accounts. It suits post-90s and post-00s employees, prioritizing responsibility, results, creativity, and efficiency over rigid schedules. "Love freedom, take responsibility"—despite his frequent travels, Lai ensures work proceeds smoothly, with Huaxuanyang's performance steadily rising. However, implementing this method requires:

1. Mutual trust—authorization equals trust and support; accepting it means owning the results.

2. System support—employees need not be in the office, but progress and outcomes must be reported promptly.

In summary, Lai Zhuguang attributes his success to focus and professionalism, believing the electronics industry offers a lifetime of opportunities. An altruistic, win-win mindset and dedication to one goal are key, with achievements and recognition being life's gifts. Grateful to many, he channels this into action—the folk public welfare organization "Love and Care" to participate in assistance programs, donating supplies, and aiding those in need. "These are just small contributions within my capabilities—minor things, all thanks to my upbringing." he said. Moving forward, Lai lives as a beacon—continuously learning, improving, staying true, free-spirited, and embodying upward kindness, sunward vitality, and the harmony of heaven, earth, freedom, and love.
