Kinghelm Sales Deputy Director Peng Huisheng: A Hakka in Shenzhen, Staying True to His Original Aspiration Through Hard Work
2026-08-03
"Stay clear-headed, self-disciplined, know when to advance and when to retreat, and understand what you gain and lose." — This is the striving motto of Peng Huisheng, Deputy Director of Sales Department II at Kinghelm. He joined Kinghelm in November 2022, starting as a grassroots salesperson, and was promoted to Deputy Director of Sales Department II in May 2026. Over four years in sales, his performance has lived up to his name "Huisheng" (meaning "bringing life") — always surprising and inspiring. Since the launch of the "Dragon-Tiger Warrior" incentive system at Kinghelm and Slkor in March 2026, Peng Huisheng secured third place in April. He said, "I’m still pushing hard for the champion and runner-up spots. I will steadily build my foundation and strive to achieve better rankings soon." General Manager Song Shiqiang stated that Kinghelm commends excellence and advocates for outstanding performance, and will give maximum support to employees who show drive, determination, and the ability to get things done.
Peng Huisheng, Deputy Director of Sales Department II, Kinghelm
Peng Huisheng, born in the 1980s, is a Hakka from Meizhou, Guangdong. His name "Huisheng" carries an auspicious meaning — evoking new life, festive harmony, and enduring vitality. Peng shared, "Huisheng embodies my family’s two great hopes — that I can earn a living and also live a free and happy life, never worrying about subsistence and always living comfortably." Speaking of his hometown Meizhou, Peng said with warmth, "Whenever I have free time, I go back to Meizhou. This ‘World Capital of the Hakka’ is blessed with beautiful mountains and rivers. According to the Guangxu Jiaying Prefecture Gazette, Meizhou got its name from the local ‘Mei Peak’ mountain and ‘Mei Stream’ water. The familiar Hakka enclosed houses — a form of clan settlement integrating residence, ancestral worship, and education — are known as the ‘Ancient Roman Castles of the East.’ Hakka specialties like stuffed tofu, Mei Cai Kou Rou (braised pork with preserved mustard greens), and salt-baked chicken carry a thousand years of culinary heritage, and they are our way of savoring happiness. The village carnival every New Year’s Eve, with deafening gongs and drums, fills the air with festive spirit. My father plays the big drum while I strike the gong — our unspoken father-son bond is renewed and strengthened through cultural preservation and inheritance. Most importantly, the Hakka virtues of loyalty, honesty, and pragmatism are the very foundation of my character."
When asked about the origin of the gong-and-drum custom, Peng recalled, "The village has a wonderful New Year atmosphere. Every New Year’s Eve, after dinner, villagers naturally come out and gather together to chat and catch up on family news. My father has always been the village drummer — it’s a tradition passed down from the older generation. When he beats the drum, he seems to radiate energy and brilliance. I learned to strike the gong by consciously joining in and passing it on each New Year’s Eve, because inheriting our culture and sustaining our national roots is the mission of every generation."
Peng Huisheng, Sales Elite at Kinghelm
Peng Huisheng has been in sales at Kinghelm for four years. He got started quickly, performed well, and has consistently achieved remarkable results as if on a winning streak. When asked about his secrets to continuous big orders, he humbly said, "It’s all thanks to Kinghelm’s platform, brand, and team. Kinghelm is my first stop in transitioning to sales, and I am grateful to the company for its training and trust, allowing me to move forward steadily on a path of integrity, pragmatism, and positive hard work. I also thank my past experience — right after graduation, I came to Shenzhen and learned many practical skills, such as working as a mobile phone after-sales engineer for over ten years. Because Kinghelm’s ‘Kinghelm’ brand products are well-known and widely used in smartphones, my decade-plus of phone repair experience proved to be a perfect match. It helped me settle in quickly at Kinghelm, deepen my product expertise, and solve customers’ pain points, making transactions smoother and more reassuring for clients."
When asked, "Beyond experience, how else can you drive sales?" Peng offered practical advice based on his own work: "First, uphold your bottom line. As a son-in-law of a Chaoshan family, I have participated in Chaoshan ancestral rites and traditional banquets. Through genuine contact, I have been deeply influenced by the Chaoshan people’s principles of keeping promises, valuing relationships, and treating others with warmth — these are the bottom lines I adhere to in my career. Second, mindset comes first. Focus on solving problems rather than dwelling on past gains or losses. Dedicate your mind to serving customers and mastering products — this stabilizes your mindset and drives continuous improvement. Third, invest in daily effort. Deepen your understanding of product specifications and industry applications, engage with customers to accumulate hands-on experience, and constantly review and summarize. Over time, your professional competence will naturally become solid."
Peng Huisheng, Deputy Director of Sales at Kinghelm: Responsibility and Commitment Can Overcome All Difficulties
After being promoted to Deputy Director of Sales at Kinghelm, Peng admitted, "My focus has shifted from personal client acquisition to team collaboration and shared success. Mentally, I carry an added sense of responsibility — to grow the team together and make it stronger." To fulfill this responsibility, Peng integrates General Manager Song Shiqiang’s leadership training with practical work to empower the team for win-win development; he regularizes his personal sales sharing into a replicable routine, mainly exchanging real combat experiences and customer challenges to promote mutual learning and improvement across the team; and he leverages exhibitions as a key channel for efficient client outreach, realizing the declaration of "Kinghelm Connects the World." Take the 2026 electronica Shanghai, which Peng participated in, as an example. To ensure smooth and efficient exhibition interactions, he invited target major clients in advance for on-site meetings, prepared samples, product materials, and promotional items, organized RF product parameters, and planned communication scripts ahead of time.
"The most important thing in sales is proactivity," Peng emphasized. He noted, "As a deputy sales director, I participate in interviewing new recruits and always ask candidates, ‘Are you highly motivated and proactive?’" He further explained, "In sales, you have to put aside so-called pride. If you don’t understand something, ask proactively; if you don’t know, learn proactively. Treat customers like you would court a girlfriend — if they don’t respond, keep engaging persistently; if problems arise, find solutions; don’t give them the cold shoulder or force them to yield. Also, remember to send greetings during holidays. With long-term sincere maintenance, you can steadily build up major client resources."
Company Profile of Kinghelm
Sales is like sailing against the current — if you don’t advance, you retreat. Looking ahead, Peng envisioned, "I wish Kinghelm continued vigorous growth. I thank my family for their understanding and companionship. I hope to stay true to my original aspiration and keep improving — growing with the team at work, continuously creating value, and deeply cultivating the RF connector field to sustain Kinghelm’s reputation and quality for the long term. In life, I want to spend more time with my family and participate in my children’s growth, practicing the belief that ‘everything is for a better life,’ and achieving a balanced life with both career and family fulfillment."
Song Shiqiang on Strategy: Highlights from the 2026 electronica Shanghai Dialogues
2026-07-21
In early July 2026, Kinghelm and Slkor made a high-profile appearance at 2026 electronica Shanghai, sending a team of over 30 people and occupying a 72-square-meter booth with a technologically striking and visually powerful layout. As a thought leader in Huaqiangbei, General Manager Mr. Song Shiqiang was invited to the eefocus Executive Dialogue live studio, participated in interviews and live streaming with Zhixin Suge’s "GESA Chip Shines East," and contributed to a special written interview with Hc360.com – all of which drove strong exposure and deep brand engagement for "Kinghelm" and "Slkor." At electronica Shanghai, Kinghelm and Slkor showcased their capabilities alongside international giants such as TE Connectivity, Amphenol, Molex, Hirose, Infineon, Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, and onsemi, as well as outstanding domestic players including Electric Connector, Changjiang Connector, Silan Micro, China Resources Micro, and Jiejie Microelectronics – competing, exchanging ideas, and growing together.
Song Shiqiang on Strategy I: "Slkor: Chinese Semiconductors Going Global"
Mr. Song Shiqiang, founder of Slkor Semiconductor, engaged in a compelling discussion with Mr. Li Jian, senior industry analyst at eefocus, on the theme "Slkor: Chinese Semiconductors Going Global."
Slkor Semiconductor founder Song Shiqiang (left) with eefocus senior industry analyst Li Jian
Chinese power semiconductors are transitioning from the "chip shortage" dividend period to the deep waters of market competition. As global chip supplies normalize and international brands cut prices to recapture market share, the window for domestic substitution is narrowing. In this context, Mr. Song shared the "disruptive innovation" path he has practiced throughout his entrepreneurial journey.
Mr. Song Shiqiang (left) at the eefocus live studio
Song pointed out that while cutting-edge technologies like silicon carbide have great promise, their R&D and commercialization cycles are lengthy, making them less optimal for startups. Slkor chose to start with products such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, and bridge rectifiers – technologies that are relatively mature, have lower entry barriers, and shorter cycles, enabling rapid cash flow generation. Later, the company added ESD protection diodes, TVS transient suppression diodes, power management ICs, and other analog products. This strategy reflects a deep understanding and flexible application of the economic principles of "disruptive innovation" – which involves breaking through from niche markets to the core, penetrating and gradually displacing high-end products from the low-end, ultimately achieving sustained innovation and breakthroughs.
At the same time, Slkor and its sister company Kinghelm have built a unique dual-brand synergistic ecosystem. Mr. Song recalled that the initial rationale for running the "Kinghelm" and "Slkor" dual brands was to diversify risks from market fluctuations and public listing. Unexpectedly, both brands have flourished, and cross-orders from customers have generated a "1+1>2" ecological reuse effect – with upfront investments in brand penetration, sample delivery, employee training, and internal knowledge engineering paying off in one go.
Song Shiqiang: We want to let time verify our products, our brand, and the value of our team
Song attributes the competitiveness of Chinese semiconductor companies to two factors: first, the diligence of the Chinese people, with sustained positive labor input driving rapid product iteration; second, the maturity of the domestic industrial chain, where technology and market mutually reinforce each other in a virtuous cycle. However, he also clearly recognizes that competition is intensifying. In a weak economy, massive capital has flooded into the electronics information sector, and the growth in industry output value lags far behind the influx of speculative capital. "Competing on price, efficiency, and response speed" has become the norm.
Currently, Slkor is evolving from "product going global" to a new stage of "comprehensive globalization," aiming to secure a prominent position in the global power semiconductor landscape. Song remarked: "Our company has a rule: we don’t do things that can be done by three to five people, nor things that can be done in three to five years. We want to let time verify our products, our brand, and the value of our team. This is also our corporate firewall."

Song Shiqiang: Kinghelm’s goal is the stars and the sea – to become a publicly listed company representing a national brand!
"Kinghelm" conveys a powerful sense of strength, rich in meaning and depth. "Kinghelm – Connecting the World." In 2007, Shenzhen Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd. set sail from Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen. Its technical team, rooted in Tsinghua University and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, has attracted outstanding professionals, deepened its expertise in microwave RF technology, and established new technology research institutes in collaboration with universities. Today, it has grown into a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise, industry-leading in the R&D, production, sales, and technical services of RF microwave signal transmission products and comprehensive solutions. High technology, superior quality, and safety are our unremitting pursuits.
Mr. Song explained that Kinghelm’s English name combines "King" (meaning sovereign) and "helm" (the rudder that steers direction and navigates storms). "Kinghelm" signifies ambitious goals, fearlessness in the face of challenges, and the pursuit of a royal path – embodying the Eastern wisdom of "Inner Sage, Outer King" and "Great Virtue Sustains All Things" advocated by Mr. Song. "Kinghelm – Connecting the World." Since its founding in 2007, the company has successfully shaped the "King’s Rudder" brand image, achieving remarkable success in the Beidou satellite navigation and positioning systems and related products, leading industry trends, and emerging as a "leading enterprise" in the sector. Meanwhile, its market share in the connector segment continues to grow, and the "Kinghelm" brand enjoys influence and reputation in international markets.
Mr. Song emphasized that Kinghelm’s slogan is "Kinghelm – Connecting the World." "We strive to produce excellent products, capture more market share, and serve more customers. Kinghelm’s corporate vision is to make our antennas and connectors serve a broad customer base, facilitating smooth global communication and social harmony. Products are the vessel; culture is the soul. Culture empowers products with a 'brand soul.' Our goal is the stars and the sea – to become a publicly listed company representing a national brand, and to bring our 'Inner Sage, Outer King' corporate culture and 'Kinghelm' brand products to the world. A public listing signifies success for both our individuals and the company, and enables our employees to share more in the rewards. It is precisely our people-centric philosophy – 'good work leads to a good life' – and the organizational and behavioral mechanisms built upon it, combined with ensuring that knowledge density, talent structure, systems, processes, and mechanisms efficiently complete the business loop, that have enabled Kinghelm to achieve high efficiency, greater rewards for colleagues, an ever-growing team with stronger cohesion and commitment, and rapid and steady development even during industry downturns."
CGC · Champion Strategy Visits Slkor
Song Shiqiang: Slkor aims to become one of the world’s most competitive semiconductor companies
"Slkor–Chips Driven future." Since its founding in 2015, Slkor has risen as a formidable contender. Its technical backbone comes from Tsinghua University and Yonsei University in South Korea, leading the company with new materials, new processes, and new products, and mastering world-leading third-generation semiconductor silicon carbide power device technology. "Slkor" – trust is the foundation, righteousness is the soul; trust is inscribed in the vessel, righteousness is fulfilled in action. This conviction drives our continuous exploration of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. Our friends are spread across four seas, and our products reach five continents. Together with its sister company Kinghelm, Slkor has formed a high-speed development model driven by the interactive push of the "Kinghelm" and "Slkor" brands and products, deeply integrated with China’s booming semiconductor chip market. We treat our colleagues with care, develop products with dedication, serve our customers with heart, and hope to make the future better through our products and technologies.
Song noted that ultimately, business success comes down to culture. Taking the 2026 electronica Shanghai as an example, over 2,000 top exhibitors from home and abroad competed on the same stage – from booth design and corporate videos to team core competencies and individual best performances. On the surface, it was all about selling products, finding customers, and boosting sales, but in essence, it was a showcase of culture, strength, and depth – and also an opportunity to train the team and empower each employee. These are the "soul" elements. What deserves reflection is how to effectively present team spirit, company strength, brand influence, technological and product leadership; how to disseminate corporate values, vision, and mission efficiently and accurately through corporate videos; and how to understand the essence of service, customers’ latent needs, and differentiated competitive strategies – these are the gaps between Chinese companies and multinational giants in the process of globalization.
Song particularly emphasized that Slkor’s global strategy follows a path of specialization, differentiation, and high-end development, consciously resisting "involution-style" competition, and surviving and growing amidst multiple constraints. It has become one of the best-developed companies in China’s semiconductor sector. This differentiated competition means continuous innovation, continuous deployment, continuous self-pressure, and continuous self-breakthrough. Only thus could Slkor seize the opportunity at 2026 electronica Shanghai to showcase its strength, creativity, corporate culture, and attention to detail to peers and partners worldwide. Observing over the past few days, I found that the Slkor and Kinghelm booth attracted more foot traffic, energy, and visitor flow than neighboring booths – because our team arrived earliest and most completely, everyone prepared thoroughly upon arrival, kept working hard, helped each other, and spontaneously reviewed and summarized experiences during breaks. Improving a little every day, staying focused on our goals – it is this spirit that enables Slkor Semiconductor to excel in products, business, and every detail, and has now set it on a path of high-quality development, solidifying the foundation for its public listing.
Song Shiqiang on Strategy III: "The Counter-Attack and Breakthrough of Domestic Brands"
Slkor’s article featured as the headline in Hc360.com’s "Chip News Top Stories" column
As a thought leader in the electronics information industry, Mr. Song Shiqiang has attracted widespread attention. Slkor’s press release "See You Next Year | Slkor’s Highlights at 2026 electronica Shanghai" was featured as the lead story in Hc360.com’s "Chip News Top Stories" column. Excerpts from Hc360’s written interview with Slkor’s Song Shiqiang were included in the article "AI Computing Power 'Consumes' Capacity, Power Devices Tight Across the Board". In light of the market situation where "AI data center deployments are driving strong demand for power switches and ICs, leading to shortages," Mr. Song’s core views, corporate strategy, and trend assessments are as follows:
Slkor founder Mr. Song Shiqiang
Core View: For MOSFETs and IGBTs, due to capacity squeezes at foundries and OSATs from other higher-margin products, lead times have lengthened this year, with occasional shortages.
Corporate Strategy: Domestic power devices are evolving from initial "device replacement" to comprehensive "solution competition." This year, the adoption of Slkor’s SiC MOSFETs and other products at the customer end has accelerated, driven by growing recognition of the domestic "Slkor" brand. However, due to intense competition among peers, significant volume growth has not yet materialized.
Trend Assessment: In domestic power device production, domestic brands are gradually squeezing out import brands – particularly evident in low-end products, with signs of loosening in high-end products as well. This assessment provides a positive signal for the trend that "the upward cycle will continue at least through 2027," confirming the explosive momentum of domestic substitution acceleration. The industry rule of "disruptive innovation" applies here as well.

Tsinghua Garden, Image source: Mr.Zhao Ming, Chairman of Tsinghua Fei'en
Steven Cen, whose English name "Steven" derives from Latin and Greek meanings of "crown" or "flower crown," graduated with a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 1992. He recalled: "Born in 1969, I was admitted to Tsinghua University in 1987 from Yuyao High School in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, enrolling in the Department of Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering, majoring in Hydropower Engineering Architecture. During my five-year undergraduate program, what impressed me most was how outstanding my classmates were. I faced all challenges courageously; although some efforts ended in failure, I refused to be defeated—my inherent refusal to give up and growing resilience after setbacks are gifts that Tsinghua has bestowed upon my life. The aspiration to' integrate personal development into collective endeavors and closely link personal achievements with those of the university and the nation' has shaped the direction of my life."
Since its establishment in 1911, Tsinghua University has embodied the spirit of "redressing national humiliation and dedicating itself to the motherland." The "Tsinghua Spirit" —referring to the patriotic sentiment and commitment to serving the country among its members—was deeply rooted in this ethos. After graduating from Tsinghua University in 1992, Cen Jianjun was initially assigned to a water resources and hydropower design institute. Inspired by Deng Xiaoping's Southern Tour speech, he decisively left the government sector to pursue entrepreneurship. Seizing opportunities of the era, he joined one of the most innovative real estate and foreign trade companies of the time, leveraging its wealth-creation potential and contemporary relevance. Starting from a sales position with access to extensive market information, he learned through practical experience, customer insights, and market trends. Later, he independently operated foreign trade businesses and established factories, but faced closure due to inadequate quality control. Cen Jianjun summarized this experience: "Product quality is the lifeline of an enterprise—the foundation for market competitiveness and the guarantee of sustainable development. It determines an organization's fate; without quality, there can be no growth."
The academic rigor and keen insight of Tsinghua University alumni once again opened the door to entrepreneurship for Cen Jianjun. He recalled: "When the internet first emerged in 1996, many people doubted its potential. Yet I recognized the immense business opportunities it held. I began using the internet to gather information, connect with clients, and conduct trade. It was under the impetus of 'Internet+' that I delved into materials science in 1997, gradually deepening my expertise through practical trading experiences. In 1998, the call to accelerate the development of private enterprises inspired me, but the experience of factory closures made me more cautious and focused. After thorough preparation, I returned to entrepreneurship in 2001 by establishing my own factory, strictly controlling product quality from then on." For over two decades, Mr.Cen has dedicated himself to the polyimide industry, leading his team to develop high-end polyimide products competitive with international standards. A gentleman is not confined to a single role; a role serves to embody the Way! This means that a gentleman should not be limited by one specific skill or position but should instead possess extensive knowledge, integrate diverse expertise, apply his talents effectively, progress from "becoming competent" to "understanding the Way," and fulfill his mission through virtue and original aspirations. This wisdom transcends time and space. Mr.Cen Jianjun, Uphold Tsinghua University's vision, has dedicated over two decades to self-directed learning and persistent innovation in China's polyimide (PI) industry. He not only broke through foreign technological barriers by developing PI products that domestic competitors could not produce—such as "high-modulus CHTS polyimide films and fully PI-based far-infrared rigid/flexible heating film assemblies, all pioneering mass production in China" —but also promoted collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application, continuously unlocking cutting-edge uses for polyimide across various sectors. He noted: "Polyimide (PI) finds applications in FCCLs, TABs, TAPE high-temperature cables, battery buffer gaskets, and more. Its use in electric new energy vehicles is extensive, covering cell materials (cathode, anode, separator), cell formation (tabbing, coating), FPC and FFC wiring in battery packs, side plate insulation in packs, insulation between packs and liquid-cooled plates, busbars, aluminum bars, copper sheets, impregnated insulation (PAA), body-side pressure sensors, electronic planar transformers, PTC insulation in air conditioning heating and water cooling systems, lithium battery heating elements, antennas, and other FPC applications—totaling ten scenarios. It is also widely used in lightweight composite materials and automotive components. Particularly, the polar nature of its large π-conjugated bonds and imide bonds offers limitless potential for future battery applications!"

More importantly, Mr.Cen Jianjun, embodying the spirit of a scientific researcher, led an elite R&D team in overcoming the core technological challenges of polyimide (PI), a critical "bottleneck" material. Through innovation in PI materials, he strengthened the industrial foundation of China and demonstrated the strength and responsibility of Chinese enterprises in international competition, inspiring more people to collaborate in advancing, developing, and applying these technologies. He sincerely advised, "We must remain focused, persevere with unwavering determination, and be willing to endure prolonged periods of solitude. Entering this industry is fortunate—it's a promising field. However, the long-term healthy development of the industry requires collective efforts to excel in product quality and professional competence, because at its core, no matter how competitive or price-driven the market becomes, success ultimately hinges on delivering superior products—only then will you secure a place for yourself."
The outstanding team led by Cen Jianjun at Ningbo Jingshan New Materials Co., Ltd.
"No matter how high the mountain, climbing upward will always lead to the summit; no matter how long the journey, persevering will surely bring success." The polyimide (PI) industry is currently experiencing a remarkable boom characterized by surging demand, domestic substitution of imported products, and capacity expansion. Amid this thriving momentum, Mr.Cen Jianjun, Founder and Chairman of Ningbo Jinshan New Materials Co., Ltd., has outlined a development roadmap for CEN Jinshan (china-polyimide.com): First, prioritize compliance as the foundation toward listing objectives. CEN Jinshan's current focus is on ensuring the stability and reliability of its new products to steadily expand market share and meet the scale and profitability requirements for IPO. The company has consistently emphasized standardized management practices, integrating all operational processes with IPO compliance standards. Second, accelerate listing preparations to drive sustainable growth. Song Shiqiang on the Shanghai Experience
Mr. Song Shiqiang at 2026 electronica Shanghai, booth W5.317
Mr. Song Shiqiang first connected with electronica Shanghai in 2024. On July 8-10, 2024, he led the Kinghelm and Slkor teams to observe the show. Song noted that the entire electronics industry is seeking breakthroughs, and downstream companies are paying more attention to the stability and efficiency of semiconductor supply chains. For technology-original manufacturers and own-brand suppliers like Kinghelm and Slkor, technological and product innovation, service upgrades, and supply chain optimization must all adapt to the higher demands of the AI‑driven, fully interconnected era. It was the fruitful observations in 2024 that led to Kinghelm and Slkor’s annual commitment to electronica Shanghai. Kinghelm adheres to the corporate culture of "Integrity, Diligence, Resilience, Detail" and the business ethics of "Fairness, Openness, Cooperation, Win-Win," along with the Eastern wisdom of "Inner Sage, Outer King" advocated by Mr. Song. With nearly 20 years of deep roots in RF technology and connectors, Kinghelm pursues product excellence, cooperates with customers and industry partners, and is committed to building a positive, healthy industrial ecosystem that promotes social harmony – a supportive external environment that has truly helped Kinghelm thrive.
Interview 1: Mr. Song Shiqiang with Li Jian of eefocus
"Concerning Components, Asking the Four Dimensions" Interview
Mr. Song Shiqiang being interviewed by Li Jian of eefocus for "Concerning Components, Asking the Four Dimensions"
"Artificial intelligence + high-speed mobile connectivity" will be the dominant social landscape of the future. Kinghelm started with the R&D, production, and sales of "Kinghelm" brand Beidou BDS/GPS antennas, and has long been deeply engaged in RF microwave technology, actively embracing the new era of universal interconnection. Facing both opportunities and challenges as domestic substitution enters its "deep waters," Kinghelm has still achieved over 80% annual growth for four consecutive years (2022–2025), despite the global economic slowdown. The "Kinghelm" and "Slkor" brands are shining brightly on the international stage.

In response, Supplyframe’s Four Dimensions and eefocus’ Li Jian asked Kinghelm and Slkor founder and GM Mr. Song Shiqiang about "How can companies achieve counter‑trend growth and break through in the AI era?" Mr. Song stated that the integration of strategy, tactics, and execution is key to breaking the deadlock. Taking Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) and Slkor as examples, from their inception, both companies have benchmarked themselves against world‑class enterprises in terms of strategic decision‑making, resource allocation, internal management, brand value, innovation capability, and internationalization, firmly pursuing a global path. In terms of tactics, Kinghelm and Slkor adopt an approach that 90% of their peers cannot understand – a digital marketing path for domestic original brands, centered on their official websites and supplemented by matrixed layouts across other media and platforms. This approach runs counter to the conventional semiconductor industry logic (which emphasizes capital, technology, and sales network accumulation) and was inevitably an untrodden path. In execution, the standardized and process‑driven management at Kinghelm and Slkor ensures efficiency, high per‑capita productivity, and remarkable results, which have been widely imitated by peers. Specifically, Kinghelm and Slkor apply ecological, matrix, and hierarchical methodologies, dividing business into different segments and departments, and through organic collaboration and management, achieve highly efficient operations and growth.
Interview 2: Mr. Song Shiqiang Invited to Join Zhixin Suge's
"GESA Chip Shines East" Electronics Industry Live Stream!
Mr. Song Shiqiang invited to join Zhixin Suge's "GESA Chip Shines East" electronics industry live stream!
The 2025 electronica Shanghai marked the debut of Zhixin Suge's "GESA Chip Shines East" live program. Since then, Zhixin Suge has taken viewers through the exhibition via live camera, sharing insights from exhibitors and industry partners, working together to build big business and strengthen enterprises. Mr. Song Shiqiang has been a guest on Zhixin Suge's live stream for two consecutive years (2025–2026) at electronica Shanghai, discussing the industry's "chip" future with global friends.
Zhixin Suge (left) and Mr. Song Shiqiang of Kinghelm
Mr. Song noted that industry opportunities always exist – the key is having the ability to seize them. In earlier years, Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.com.cn) and Slkor capitalized on the "domestic substitution" trend in electronic components to grow stronger. Today, 5G communications, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, industrial internet, digital economy, and new energy technologies are flourishing and have become major drivers of future economic growth, integral to the emerging "new quality productive forces." The prosperity of these technologies and industries is precisely where Kinghelm’s opportunities lie. Moreover, Kinghelm’s (www.kinghelm.net) main products are RF microwave antennas, signal connectors, and their assemblies, covering three communication technologies: RF microwave, high‑speed data transmission, and optical communications. These emerging fields demand higher performance in wireless communication, data transmission, and industrial automation, and Kinghelm is actively working to meet these needs and drive industry progress. Encouragingly, [Kinghelm’s future product roadmap] has already released productive capacity. This year (2026), Kinghelm will establish an initial product portfolio, with gradually enriched antenna product lines and optical communication accessories (optical devices) entering production – marking Kinghelm’s official entry into the optical communications sector, a field with high technical barriers where brand building is a continuous process. We will first gauge market demand and launch mainstream optical communication accessories (optical devices), gradually moving from a latecomer to a leading player.

This exhibition also revealed our shortcomings in pre‑show invitation, scenario‑based product display, documentation standardization, and promotional material. "Knowing our inadequacies" is a motto I greatly admire. The *Book of Rites* says, "Know your shortcomings, and then you can reflect on yourself." Laozi’s *Tao Te Ching* states, "To know that you do not know is the highest." Thus, shortcomings can become strengths – they will be our breakthrough points for improving customer satisfaction and driving growth.
I will promptly follow up with customer tiering, material delivery, sample coordination, and continuous engagement to convert exhibition leads. Meanwhile, I will apply the experience gained to optimize next year’s exhibition preparation, display systems, and lead generation models, continuously enhancing brand exposure and return on exhibition investment.

The Bund area in Huangpu District, known as the "Street of International Architecture"
At the Bund, with its array of diverse Western architectural styles from the former concession era, Mr. Song joked about being a "seasoned construction contractor by background," emphasizing that his love for old architecture is "in his bones." Revisiting the place brought deep emotions: "From real estate to chip business, from the Shanghai Bund to Huaqiangbei, all have left vivid memories for me! The Hatong Building (later the Old Jiefang Building) that I renovated back then is now Huawei’s global flagship store – the old building is now filled with technological wonder. Every time I visit, I have new reflections, and it elevates my soul!"
