I returned home on January 15, 2020 and was preparing for our Chinese New Year. However, the sad news suddenly came that the Covid-19 broke out in Wuhan, which spreaded quickly and was so infectious that the whole China is at risk (Guangdong is at high risk). When the first wave of the epidemic was almost under control, I came to Shenzhen and started to look for a job. At the beginning, I applied for a job of teacher. Then I was interviewed by a number of schools, and some said they want a graduate from a key university but I’m not. In addition, I wasn’t very satisfied with some job offers, as well. Later I heard that it’s very easy for a salesman to make money, so I want to have a try. When chatting with my friends, I was suggested to find a company with its own factory and brand, which is conducive to the long-term and stable development of the future. Besides, the original factory has advantages in price, delivery time, quality and other aspects. Finally I joined Kinghelm by accident. Kinghelm has its own processing factories and automatic production lines in Tangxia, Dongguan and Liuzhou, Guangxi, and its own brand Kinghelm has a good reputation and influence in the industry. The vision of Kinghelm is to be the leader of China’s antenna and connector industry.

Here I made acquaintance with Song Shiqiang, general manager of Kinghelm, and Cheng Yujie, the deputy general manager of Kinghelm, who were very enthusiastic to me. In this team, I was a newcomer who didn’t know anything about sales, without any sales skills or experience, and I was not familiar with Beidou antenna connectors and other products. I could only learn from my colleagues step by step, such as how to communicate with customers and make a deal. Plus the resources shared by Kinghelm, my sales performance also improved slowly.
When I chat with my customers, many of them said since the outbreak of the Covid-19, it’s more and more difficult to do business, and the market is getting worse and worse. In order to maintain the corporate operation, some listed companies and big enterprises are downsizing and reducing expenses, some enterprises even apply for bankruptcy. So I’m very honored to join Kinghelm at the beginning, otherwise, I may also be on the layoff list of some companies. Instead, Kinghelm is still developing and expanding its recruitment in recent years.
I remember Mr. Song Shiqiang once said that during the epidemic period, risks and opportunities coexist. As long as you challenge risks and seize opportunities, you can grow up in a desperate situation. This is very suitable for Kinghelm, which has been established since 2007.
