Male Connector:

Smooth exterior surfaces with exposed conductive pins/blades.

May include alignment pins or raised guides (e.g., in multi-pin connectors) to ensure proper orientation during mating.

Female Connector:

Internally equipped with spring-loaded contacts, elastic metal tabs, or clamping mechanisms to grip the male connector securely.

Male Connector:

Female Connector:
