- Micron Technology held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its Hiroshima plant in Japan, with an investment of 1.5 trillion yen ($9.3 billion).
- DMS, a Korean display and semiconductor equipment manufacturer, has signed a display equipment supply contract with Chinese display panel maker HKC (HKC Corporation) worth 41.3 billion won (approximately 183 million RMB).
