Chinese trademark Kinghelm successfully registered, valid for 10 years

Shenzhen Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded on June 18, 2007, by Song Shiqiang in Shenzhen Huaqiangbei. During the first decade (2007–2016), Kinghelm registered its English trademark Kinghelm, was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Double-Software Certified Enterprise, and received national patents for Beidou Positioning Communication Invention and ISO9001 Quality Management System certification. The Kinghelm product line expanded from Beidou GPS antennas to a broader range of communication signal interconnection solutions.

The company fully acquired the Beidou division of Dongguan Lijin Electronics and established a Kinghelm Beidou antenna production base in Luzhai, Guangxi, enhancing mass production and delivery capacity. Kinghelm also expanded overseas, recruiting global distributors, solution providers, and business partners, raising international brand recognition and reputation. Together with sister company Slkor Micro, Kinghelm now serves more than 20,000 customers worldwide.

Song Shiqiang appointed as Huaqiangbei Maker Mentor by Shenzhen Huaqiangbei Subdistrict Office

Song Shiqiang of Kinghelm and Slkor Micro was the first to systematically define and promote Huaqiangbei Culture, elevating the spontaneous entrepreneurial model of Huaqiangbei into a theoretical framework. He distilled Huaqiangbei culture into eight words: Daring, Innovative, Resilient, Pragmatic, and outlined the industrial upgrade path of Imitate—Improve—Innovate. He proposed the idea that one meter of counter is one innovation unit, reflecting entrepreneurial spirit at the micro level. Small and micro businesses serve as the dynamic capillaries of social development, creating unprecedented value recognition and stimulating innovation in the Huaqiangbei ecosystem. Song also defined the principles of survival and growth in Huaqiangbei as asset-light, fast iteration, high conversion, information-driven and creatively introduced the concept of Huaqiangbei as the supply chain reservoir for the electronics industry, explaining how it balances production and inventory, matches supply and demand efficiently, and buffers industrial ecosystem risks. This theory has become a foundational framework for studying the rapid development of China’s electronics industry post-reform and opening-up.

Song Shiqiang’s Kinghelm Electronics (www.kinghelm.net) specializes in Beidou GPS navigation antennas, supporting the development of domestic navigation systems. Slkor Micro (www.slkoric.com) focuses on silicon carbide power devices, rapidly growing in new energy vehicles and photovoltaics. Together, the two brands serve more than 30,000 customers worldwide, becoming a shining example of Chinese smart manufacturing going global.
