Intel Foundry Successfully Develops Ultra-Thin Gallium Nitride (GaN) Chip

International Tech News:

1. CoreWeave (CRWV-US), a cloud computing AI infrastructure provider, has signed a long-term agreement worth approximately $21 billion with Meta Platforms (META-US). Under the deal, it will provide cloud computing support through 2032.

2. Intel’s foundry business has successfully developed an ultra-thin gallium nitride (GaN) chip with a thickness of only 19 micrometers (μm).

3. Apple has agreed to exclusively source foldable smartphone OLED panels from Samsung Display over the next three years. The agreement has a duration of three years.

4. Samsung Electronics reported Q1 2026 sales of 133 trillion KRW, up 41.73% quarter-on-quarter and 68.06% year-on-year.

6. Australian company Ideas Group will purchase a total of 1,600 "Xiaozhu Autonomous Vehicles" from Chinese company Youjia Innovation, primarily for deployment in the Australian and Southeast Asian markets.
