- Monopole Antenna:
Compact size and space-saving design; relies on a ground plane for operation. It offers moderate radiation efficiency (approximately 40%–60%) and a hemispherical radiation pattern. It is well suited for compact consumer electronic devices. - Dipole Antenna:
Does not require a ground plane and provides higher radiation efficiency (approximately 60%–80%). It features more uniform omnidirectional radiation and stronger resistance to interference. However, it requires more installation space and is suitable for medium- to long-range and high-performance applications.
