Red lanterns lined the streets, swaying softly in the breeze as if greeting passersby; cheerful New Year songs echoed through shopping malls, their familiar melodies wrapping around hearts like threads of warmth; markets bustled with activity, filled with a dazzling array of holiday goods. People moved through the crowds with bright smiles, carefully selecting items for the New Year—everywhere infused with the rich spirit of the season.

A Festive Luncheon: A Warm Reunion at Kinghelm

At noon on February 9, the company thoughtfully arranged a grand reunion lunch. Under the gentle winter sun, we gathered at a reserved restaurant. The space was warmly decorated with festive touches—elegant décor, smiling faces, and attentive service all contributing to a joyful holiday atmosphere.

Everyone sat together, sharing laughter and conversation. The tables were filled with delicious dishes, steaming and fragrant. As we enjoyed the meal, we exchanged stories from the past year—moments from work and snippets of daily life.

One of the most meaningful traditions of the reunion meal is the toast by General Manager Mr. Song Shiqiang. He, together with the management team, visited each table, warmly engaging with employees, expressing gratitude for everyone’s hard work, and sharing hopes for the year ahead. His care felt like winter sunshine, warming every heart. Glasses were raised again and again, filled with wishes for the company’s continued growth and for everyone’s health, success, and happiness.

This lunch was more than just a gathering—it was a heartfelt reunion of the Kinghelm and Slkor family, reminding us of the warmth of connection amid our busy work lives.

Rongzhou Ancient City: Echoes Across a Thousand Years

During the Spring Festival holiday, I returned to my hometown with excitement, beginning a journey to rediscover its beauty. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, I visited Rongzhou Ancient City in Rong County—a place that stands like a living history book, waiting to be explored.

As I stepped through the gates, it felt like traveling through time. The ancient city walls stood tall and solid, marked by the traces of years gone by. Each weathered imprint told a story. Above the grand gate hung a plaque inscribed with “Rongzhou Ancient City,” its bold calligraphy inspiring awe.

Walking along the stone-paved paths, I was surrounded by traditional architecture—curved eaves, intricate carvings, and beautifully painted beams that showcased the craftsmanship of ancient artisans. I entered an old temple, where incense smoke drifted gently in the air, creating a solemn and serene atmosphere. The statues inside seemed almost alive, silently narrating ancient stories. Standing there, I felt a deep sense of reverence for history and a renewed appreciation for traditional culture.

I also visited the Rongzhou Museum, which houses a rich collection of historical artifacts—bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy, and paintings. Each piece felt like a silent messenger, carrying fragments of history and recounting stories of past glory and change. Among them, an ancient map of Rong County particularly caught my attention, offering a vivid glimpse into the region’s historical geography.
