What adjustments are required in material selection and installation processes for antenna connector receptacles to ensure reliability under extreme conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, and vibration?

2026-04-24 898

Under extreme environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and vibration, antenna connector receptacles must enhance environmental resistance through material selection and improve sealing, vibration resistance, and structural stability through optimized installation processes.

Material selection:

Connector body: tin-nickel plated brass alloys or PEEK for high-temperature and corrosion resistance

Contact terminals: gold-plated beryllium copper

Insulating dielectric: PTFE or other high-temperature-resistant materials

Sealing components: fluoro-rubber (FKM)

Fasteners: 316L stainless steel

Installation process:

Add fluoro-rubber gaskets and epoxy potting to enhance sealing performance, achieving IP67 or higher protection levels

Use threaded connectors with lock nuts or thread-locking adhesive to improve vibration resistance

Avoid proximity to strong vibration sources and allow for thermal expansion and contraction

Prevent direct contact between dissimilar metals to avoid galvanic corrosion
